JOB DESCRIPTION
Functions and responsibilities

Support the project team in tasks related to operations, procurement, delivery and receipt of materials, stocks, etc.
Carry out an assessment of municipal roads and draft the assessment report
Provide logistics and budget training for BEDs and BECs
Work collaboratively with different teams across all departments
Supervise call center staff during election operations
Ensure the drafting of call center activity reports and share information with the project coordinator
Responsible for organizing the evaluations of the department’s transport vehicles
Supervise and coordinate the activities of drivers attached to the operational fleet
Coordinate operational information workshops with the national police commissioners for each municipality located in your department
Organize meetings with BEDs and BECs
Ensure maintenance of the filing system for proper incoming and outgoing correspondence regarding purchasing, transportation, fleet management, assets and relevant records for the Logistics Unit;
Ensure maintenance of records/disbursements for office supplies and other office equipment upon receipt of requisitions, approved by the competent authority;

Prepare the requisition process and ensure follow-up for the execution of the department’s procurement plan
Responsible for preparing comparative analysis of costs and receipt amounts Assist in disposal of inventory as required and when necessary, in accordance with UNOPS rules and regulations;
Responsible for maintaining the stock of equipment for office projects in collaboration with the Asset Manager for Operations
Management of material acknowledgments
Management of the department’s operating fund,
Provide support to the Logistics Assistant in their daily tasks
Check and evaluate the accuracy of tracking information and documents
Prepare and develop technical documents for monitoring field activities and operations
Project Management Manager for Drivers and Vehicles
Perform other duties as required;

Essential qualifications

Training
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, supply chain management, logistics, or any other related field is required.
A technical diploma with 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s degree;
A high school diploma with 7 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree;

Experience
With a high school diploma, at least 7 years of experience in the field of logistics or administration or other related field are required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations management is required.
Proficiency in IT tools, particularly Google Workspace, is required.
Knowledge of UN rules and regulations, UNOPS procurement procedures in particular would be an asset.
Knowledge of fleet management is an asset.
Experience in communications is an asset.

Language skills
Fluency in French and Haitian Creole is required.
Intermediate knowledge of English is an asset.
